Dear Friends,
On Monday October 26th, under the newly renovated ceiling of the Villa Albertine’s ballroom, the American Friends of Blérancourt held its annual gala. Alongside Franck Laverdin, Chairman of the Board, and Dorothea de La Houssaye, President, loyal patrons, co-chairs, friends and distinguished guests gathered around two women who carry on Anne Morgan’s spirit: Marianne Yayane Verbuyt and Laetitia de Cayeux.
Let’s start with Yayane: an educator, a healer of the soul, and a woman who understood early on that freedom comes from books and words. Through her work, she has helped others find their own voice and their own way.

If you were there, thank you for making the night what it was and for supporting the American Friends of Blérancourt, the Château de Blérancourt, and the Lafayette Fellowship. If you couldn’t be, we hope to see you next year.
More to come soon, with our second honoree, Laetitia de Cayeux. Stay tuned!
